The Role

Reporting to the SVP, Human Resources, the Manager, Benefits and HR Operations will oversee HR systems, process improvement, benefits, compensation, and HR compliance. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, entrepreneurial individual who is wired for a startup but has the foundational orientation and experience to help build a solid foundation for HR operations in order to support continuous and aggressive growth through M&A. The successful candidate will be a strong project manager with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. They will help us build scalable, efficient, and streamlined processes and systems to support our growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage major benefits processes and programs (e.g. medical, dental, vision, disability, 401k,leave management) to include open enrollment, vendor management, reporting andcompliance, billing and reconciliations, and employee communications.
• Serve as first point of contact for employees related to all benefits questions.
• Own the relationship with insurance brokers and external vendors.
• Lead the annual open enrollment process to include all system set up and employeecommunications. Partner with SVP Human Resources on benefit design and strategies.
• Lead enhancement of HR technology and systems to ensure we are maximizing use throughefficient processes, reporting, and administration.
• Optimize HR workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy while improving the employeeexperience.
• Partner with the M&A HR Business Partner to manage/improve the overall approach ofconverting newly acquired practices to our HR programs and policies (compensation, benefits,401(k), policies, etc.) while ensuring a positive employee experience.
• Oversee pre-employment and onboarding activities (e.g. E-Verify, I-9, background checks).
• Facilitate annual employee compliance training (e.g. harassment & HIPAA) and manage external vendors, as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws as it relates to employee handbook and reporting requirements. Oversee and ensure accuracy on quarterly and annual filings.
• Conduct compensation market analysis and benchmarking to deliver thoughtful recommendations, in partnership with HR Business Partner team.
• Lead annual merit process and help coach managers through sound compensation decisions, in partnership with HR Business Partner team.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on people analytics and build reporting with utmost data
integrity.
• Manage HR Coordinator.


What Are We Looking For?
• 5 to 6+ years of relevant experience within, benefits, HRIS, HR Operations, or compensation. Supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing benefit plans, partnering with external vendors, and handling employee benefits questions with a high level of customer service.
• Experience working with various HRIS/HCM platforms to manage employee information and process flows.
• Ability to analyze data and make innovative recommendations surrounding areas such as benefits, compensation, compliance, and HR Technology.
• Excellent project management skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of employment law as it applies to administration of policy and process.
• Demonstrates a high level of emotional intelligence when influencing key stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, highly acquisitive environment.
• Comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization while employing a data driven approach to solve business problems.
