Senior Transitions Project Manager / Orthodontic Partners

Summary of Position:

As the Senior Transitions Project Manager, you will play the critical role of managing the operational and cultural onboarding of new partner practices to the Orthodontic Partners (OP) platform. You will be responsible for the complete and efficient support of the integration and transition of the practice and will serve as the primary liaison between OP and practices prior to onboarding and through integration.

You will be involved during due diligence, directly responsible to listen, learn, and to set clear expectations with the practice leadership about the onboarding process and timelines. In this role, you will survey and align with the team on the best opportunities for growth and eventually pass the day-to-day management of each new practice to the OP operations team with the infrastructure in place to support robust practice growth.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create and lead the execution of a customized integration plan for each practice based on practice culture and needs.
  • Assess “business essentials” and create roadmap for rollout of key OP playbooks as soon as possible.
  • Lead and motivate practice teams during period of change and uncertainty for the practice team while providing direction using project management tools and techniques that allow for efficient planning and execution.
  • Work alongside practice management to provide an outlet for practice team feedback, quickly resolving issues and concerns in the least disruptive manner possible while identifying areas where the team needs to adapt swiftly.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between practices and OP during the onboarding and transition phase. Earning the practice’s trust through providing clear assignments, common formats, disciplined timelines, meeting schedules, communication mechanisms and review processes.
  • Support and manage OP team members and resources that support the practice level activities.
  • Lead team support and manage Practice Managers up to 120 days of joining OP, assessing operational readiness before transitioning to permanent field support; including efficiently leading integration events and changing critical systems over to our common platforms.
  • Lead support implementation of compliance and security protocols; train and document where needed.
  • Work closely with key practice team members (Practice Managers, Treatment Coordinators, Clinical Leads, and Orthodontists) to ensure processes, programs and Orthodontic best practices are effectively managed and that exceptional customer service standards are met.
  • Lead efforts to drive orthodontic team efficiencies and supporting the operational financial plans where applicable.
  • Lead and support the facilitation of staffing needs in the practices, including the assessment of existing talent, recruitment, and onboarding.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience related to project management required.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience leading Implementations/onboarding new companies through acquisition preferred.
  • Experience with complex, cross-functional business issues and operations required.

  • Technology savvy, with strong Office suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • High level of emotional intelligence to be able to support and manage through change and conflict as well as provide constructive feedback

Travel

  • Road warrior status – 50%.
  • Travel will be both by airplane and by automobile.
