The Role

Reporting to the SVP of Human Resources, the Director of Human Resources will be an integral member of our human resources and OP leadership team. This person will leverage their HR knowledge and consultative capabilities to champion our mission, vision and values through all program development. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, entrepreneurial individual who is wired for a startup but has the foundational orientation and experience to help build best in class HR processes and programs to support continuous and aggressive growth through M&A. The successful candidate will be proficient at pivoting between strategy and tactical execution and will also be adept at proactive communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee HR Business Partners (HRBPs) who are responsible for partnering with the business to ensure we attract, develop, engage and retain a high-performance team.
  • Oversee HR integration activities associated with the onboarding of new practices to ensure minimal disruption to the business and a high level of employee engagement.
  • Coach leaders on change management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership development.
  • Coach and lead HRBPs through the utilization of HR metrics and trends in order to identify barriers to achieving business results and drive recommendations and plans to solve.
  • Serve as key thought partner on the overall employee experience to include oversight of employee engagement strategies and actions.
  • Counsel leaders on performance management and employee relations.
  • Provide other day-to-day human resources support to include policy interpretation, exit interviews and onboarding activities.

What Are We Looking For?

  • 8 to 10+ years of relevant HRBP or talent management experience and 3+ years of leadership experience, ideally in a fast-paced field organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional human resources results, providing day-to-day support in a dynamic environment with an ability to quickly pivot between strategic and hands-on.
  • Consultative approach when applying HR knowledge to resolve complex business challenges.
  • Demonstrates a high level of emotional intelligence when influencing key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of employment law as it applies to administration of policy and process.
  • Comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization and employs a data driven approach to solve business problems.
  • Travel expectation of up to 25%.
