The founding doctors are also entrepreneurs. Both co-founded OrthoFi, a company that provides proprietary software and services to help make orthodontics more affordable. Orthodontic Partners seeks to revolutionize Orthodontics industry by making orthodontic care more convenient, affordable, faster and easier for patients.

Summary of Position:

As a member of the Operations team and reporting to the Director of Operations, the Operations Support Manager will work to support continuous improvement and the rapid growth of our organization as he/she represents Orthodontic Partners in key vendor relationships, leads and improves our systems implementations, and assists in the rollout of playbooks designed to growth our practices.

Given the pace and trajectory of the organization’s growth, the best candidates will possess a track record of problem solving and the inherent desire to add value to the organization. He/she will be expected to seek opportunities to improve the business while also managing ongoing projects. The ability to work cross-functionally, communicate effectively, stay focused on most important and urgent tasks, and manage project timelines are all critical to success in this role.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for Regional Managers and Orthodontic Partners’ practices for operational support needs in the following areas:
  • End user systems support
  • Performance metrics, reporting, and analysis
  • Facilities support/infrastructure needs
  • Key point of contact for practice systems’ vendor relationships.
  • Partner with IT in systems implementation processes as well as to introduce new software tools and applications to Orthodontic Partners’ operations.
  • Partner with Learning and Development to ensure needs of practice level staff are captured, and deliverable commitments are met.
  • Partner with Marketing in key strategic initiatives to ensure they roll out in a timely manner.
  • Identify potential problems and points of friction within the operations and work to find solutions in order to maximize practice efficiency, patient experience, and production revenue.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within designated budget.
  • Apply operational and financial risk mitigation strategies when deliverable goals are not met or at-risk of not being met.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum 5+ years in a related operational, managerial, or end user focused technical role
  • Proven problem-solving and data analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a matrix style organization
  • Experience with budgetary responsibilities and a strong track record of thriving within financial constraints
  • Comfortable working through periods of rapid growth and development
  • Proven ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
  • Comfortable to work unsupervised for a long period of time
  • Proven ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees as well as customers.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • Advanced Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years in a related operational, managerial, or end user focused technical role
