Treatment Coordinator

Qualities we are looking for:

We are looking for a sales professional to be our Treatment Coordinator. Our ideal candidate will have a calm yet friendly personality, be pleasant and outgoing. You must be able to pay attention to detail, be efficient and self-motivated. Excellent communication and listening skills are required. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to stay composed under stress. It is important to have the ability to problem solve and have great organizational skills.

We need someone who shares the passion, vision and values of our practice. A high energy, dependable, articulate and focused individual in pursuit of a career in orthodontics. Someone who enjoys working within a team and desires a positive, upbeat work environment. The best candidate will have exceptional customer service skills while growing and building relationships in our community.

Job Descriptions and Duties Include (not limited to):

• Greeting all new client families and walk them through the initial consultation and treatment process with the orthodontist
• Must be able to communicate effectively and build value in the orthodontists and the practice
• Selling orthodontic treatment internally and externally
• Anticipate team and doctor needs
• Great phone and follow up skills and, most importantly, the ability to close the sale
• Act as the liaison between our office and the patient's general dentist office and be responsible for correspondence between the offices
• Ensure patients are cleared for treatment including all cleanings and restorations are validated before beginning treatment
• Must be able to pay attention to detail, be efficient, self-motivated and a fast learner
• Must have excellent communication and listening skills
• Must be computer savvy as our office is paperless
• Working in a fast-paced environment and staying composed under stress
• Requires some clerical and financial reporting, answering phones and helping with front desk duties
• Contact patients/guarantors the day prior or the day of the appointment regarding fees due and to confirm the appointment
• Presenting treatment plans and giving estimates of treatment costs in an effective manner
• Helping to set, track and meet daily/monthly/yearly production goals (and keeping the team motivated in the process!)
• Drive results and strive to consistently achieve results and goals set forth by management
• Participate in outside marketing, internal marketing and special projects, with occasional evening/weekend hours outside the office for community volunteering/events
• Must have a desire for continued education and willingness to learn and adapt to change
• Work in all 3 office locations of Duluth, Cloquet and Superior
• Other duties as required
• No orthodontic experience is necessary, but sales experience is a must
